In order to comply with public health precautions, Cheney High School will be offering digital tickets purchased in advance for Varsity sporting events. Seating capacity will be limited and purchasing advanced tickets will guarantee fans a seat at the game. We understand that these changes are not convenient for many, but we ask for your cooperation as we try to provide opportunities for students to play and for a number of fans to attend.
Tickets will be available on the USD 268 web page (www.usd268.org at the bottom) and can be purchased with a debit or credit card within the week of the event. Ticket prices of $5 for adults and $3 for students (CHS students admitted free) will apply. In addition, a convenience fee of $1 and card processing fees will be applied to each ticket. Parents of the participants will be issued a presale code and be able to purchase tickets for 48 hours before the general public. Tickets will be sold online until 3:00 the day of the event.
Tickets purchased will be emailed to the owner and can be shown at the gate for admission on your mobile device or may be printed and presented at the gate. Coupons provided by local businesses are also included with each ticket. Fans that purchase advanced tickets can skip the line and enter the game after your ticket has been scanned.
Fans choosing not to buy advanced tickets may do so at the gate. Admission gates will open one hour prior to the event. In an effort to limit the exchange of cash, we ask that fans pay in exact cash only. In the event online sales reach the maximum capacity for the event, the event will be sold out and tickets will not be sold at the gate.
Fans that hold Senior Citizen or District passes may use the pass at the gate for entry, providing the event has available seats. After an event is sold out, those with passes will not be allowed to enter. Passes are welcome, but in order to guarantee a seat at the game tickets will need to be purchased in advance.
Volleyball matches will require all fans entering the building to be temperature checked and to wear a mask at all times while in the building. Football games will require fans to wear a mask while entering the stadium. Masks can be removed in the bleachers provided distancing is observed and fans are seated with their family unit. Masks must be worn in common spaces such as restrooms, concessions and admission line.
For those that are not able to attend games in person, home Varsity football and volleyball games will be streamed on www.nfhsnetwork.com. A subscription fee of $11 a month gives you access to all Cheney home games played on the turf and in the high school gym.
We thank you for your support of Cheney students and activity programs. We look forward to our students competing this Fall and representing our community to the best of their ability. Go Cardinals!
